News & EventsEventsJeff Rankin from the UT Austin is coming to talk to us about grad school opportunities this Thursday (Nov 5th) at 11am in CB 392. He is a graduate of BYU and is currently a student at UT Austin so he will be able to give a good perspective of what it is actually like to be a student there. Design CompetitionJoin us, the ASME, in the spirit of competition on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 pm in the MACH building for a innovation challenge. Design, build, and race a vehicle that runs solely on the heat from a few birthday candles. First prize is a brand new TI-89. Think it's impossible? Think again! For entry form and rules click here. ASME LeadershipASME leadership hopes you had a wonderful summer vacation, and we are looking forward
to a great academic year starting in a few weeks. We have a few ASME leadership positions
that need motivated, intelligent students to fill them. Being involved in the leadership
aspect of ASME is a great chance to connect with other ASME members, gain non-academic
experience, create opportunites for engineers at BYU to learn more about thier chosen
field, and attract potential employers and grad school programs. |
